'Yakjah' is a Kashmiri word for being together. If broken into its original Persian it constitutes of two words... 'Yak' meaning one and 'Ja' meaning place. The group is an network of people from Jammu and Kashmir seeking to work for reconciliation and conflict transformation through dialogue and collective development efforts.
