KOTHI: THE BUNGLOW
Once I went for a walk. Actually my friends had mentioned about a Kothi (A Bungalow) to me. I was really excited at the prospect of going to the Kothi. Do you know when I reached the place mentioned by my friends; I went straight towards the Kothi. I was drawn towards it. It was exactly like the Kothi in my village. Same beautiful courtyard, same walls, same windows and doors. How can that be possible? Hope I am not dreaming. What is happening to me?!! The ground seems to be slipping beneath my feet!

KASHMIR EARTHQUAKE: RELIEF WORK
Yakjah Reconciliation and Development Network, a loose network of Kashmiri professionals based in New Delhi, Kashmir and Jammu, in collaboration with Indian Social Institute, New Delhi as a small, yet heart felt effort to bring warmth, succor and comfort to the survivors of 8th October earthquake in Kashmir, provided relief material for the people of Tangdhar. Sheet tins and blankets were distributed to residents of Prada, Chatkadiyan and Panjtara in Karnah Tehsil on 9th December 2005. This initiative would not have been possible without the support of some compassionate individuals and organizations. We thank them for helping the people in these villages, survive a harsh and severe winter.

REPORT SUMMER CAMP 2005
A dream of few Kashmiri individuals, their intent for creating safe spaces and the need to empower the youth by providing them a platform for free expression, manifested in Children’s Summer Camp 2005 from 24th –30th June 2005. The Camp was organized in the lush green environs of Gulmarg tourist resort in the Kashmir Valley. Fifty five children ( 30 from three Kashmiri Pandit migrant camps in New Delhi, Jammu and Nagrota and 25 Kashmiri Muslim children from the Valley) met for the first time. For each of these children living across the divide in their respective political realities, the collective was a new experience. The harmony
